Under the coordination of Kocaeli Provincial Directorate of Science, Industry and Technology, "Organized Industrial Zone Managers Breakfast" and "TEYDEB R&D Supports Information Meeting" were held on 23 October 2015 at TÜBİTAK Marmara Teknokent (MARTEK) with the coordination of TÜBİTAK MAM.

Osman SARI, Deputy Governor of Kocaeli, İlhan AYDIN, Provincial Director of Science, Industry and Technology, Ayhan ZEYTİNOĞLU, President of Kocaeli Chamber of Industry, Organized Industrial Zone Managers, TÜBİTAK MAM Management Representatives, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hacı Ali MANTAR, President of TÜBİTAK BİLGEM, Mustafa ÇETİNTAŞ, Director of UME, Tezer BATTAL, Director of TÜSSİDE and Management Representatives of the Companies in MARTEK participated in the event which started with the opening speech of Dr. Orhan ÇÖMLEK, General Manager of MARTEK.
In his speech, Deputy Governor Osman SARI stated that it is aimed to improve the relations of State-Public-Private sector representatives and to increase the opportunities for cooperation. It was emphasized that the necessary activities will be examined to help produce solutions by closely dealing with the problems of industrialists.

Following the breakfast, TÜBİTAK MAM, BİLGEM and UME promotional films were watched and general information about the activities carried out was provided. At the TEYDEB R&D Supports Information Meeting, an informative presentation was made by TEYDEB official Oğuz ÖZBAY and industrialists' questions about project applications were answered and problems were discussed.
After the meeting, detailed information about the TÜBİTAK MAM Energy Institute Incineration and Gasification Pilot Plant was given by Osman OKUR, Director of the Institute.
