On June 14, 2016, the first meeting of "Smart Mobility Clustering" was held under the coordination of TÜBİTAK MAM.

The meeting started with the opening speech of Dr. İbrahim BEKAR, Vice President of Business Development and Industrialization at TÜBİTAK MAM, who emphasized the importance of smart mobility for our country and the region.

During the meeting, presentations were made by the relevant organizations on the work they are doing and the work they plan to do on smart mobility. The EU platforms that the Smart Mobility Cluster can participate in and the calls for the UFUK2020 program to which it can apply were introduced by TÜBİTAK International Relations Department.

The meeting was attended by representatives of 40 companies, 4 universities, Kocaeli Chamber of Industry, Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Istanbul Chamber of Industry, local government organizations, development agencies, associations, and relevant Institute/Unit employees from TÜBİTAK MAM and TÜBİTAK BİLGEM.

At the end of the meeting, it was concluded that the Smart Mobility Cluster is necessary for our country, and that it is necessary to participate in national and international platforms and apply for support mechanisms.
