A delegation from the Embassy of the Republic of Angola visited TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) on March 1, 2023.

Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yozgatlıgil, Vice President of TÜBİTAK and President of TÜBİTAK MAM, Dr. Mert Akel, Vice President of TÜBİTAK MAM Materials Technologies, Klieston Oscar Lourenço Antonio, Chief Clerk, Hermenegildo Macaia, Second Clerk and leaders and researchers from TÜBİTAK MAM Sensor and System Technologies, Food Innovation Technologies, Clean Energy Technologies, Circular Economy and Resource Efficiency Research Groups participated in the cooperation meeting held within the scope of the visit.

Yusuf Kılıç, Chief Expert from TÜBİTAK MAM Strategy and Business Development Directorate, made a presentation on TÜBİTAK MAM's infrastructure, activities and potential areas of cooperation.

After the presentation, the TÜBİTAK MAM Biodegradable Waste Recycling Laboratory, Photonic Technologies Research Laboratory, Incineration and Gasification Pilot Plant and Photovoltaic Technology Center (FTM) were visited. The Angolan delegation was given on-site information about the work carried out in the laboratories by authorized personnel.

After the laboratory visit, ideas were exchanged with the Angolan delegation on potential areas of cooperation.
