On October 12, 2016, "TÜBİTAK MAM, MARTEK and Kayseri Provincial Directorate of Food, Agriculture and Livestock R&D Cooperation Workshop" was organized by TUBITAK Marmara Research Center Gene Engineering and Biotechnology Institute (GMBE) with the participation of Kayseri Provincial Directorate of Food, Agriculture and Livestock and MARTEK. Provincial Director Mr. Özkan KAYACAN, Deputy Provincial Director Mr. Ayhan TEMİZ, Branch Managers, a team of 11 experts consisting of technical staff and company representatives, relevant personnel from GMBE, MAM Food Institute (GE) and MARTEK attended the workshop.

In the workshop, after the TÜBİTAK ARDEB Scientific Programs Expert gave information about ARDEB projects, exchange of ideas and cooperation opportunities were discussed about the projects of Kayseri Provincial Directorate. In the second part of the workshop held at MARTEK, Teknopark was introduced and information was given about the activities of various companies in MARTEK.

At the end of the workshop, it was decided to organize the next meeting in Kayseri in order to provide scientific and technological support to some projects and to discuss their applicability in more detail.
