Within the scope of the CORNET multi-collaboration program within the scope of UFUK2020, TUBITAK Marmara Research Center Climate Change and Sustainability Vice Presidency and Sakarya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SATSO) from Turkey, Fraunhofer IMWS from Germany, In the project titled "Process Development for the Production of Bio-Based Two-Component Epoxy Resin from Renewable Raw Materials (Orangeoil)", which started on October 15, 2021, SKZ and FSKZ aim to develop bio-based epoxy resins from renewable raw materials.
In this context, an online stakeholder meeting was held on May 23, 2022 with the project team and SMEs involved in the project. The meeting was attended by the officials of Amazon Wooden, Bayrak Group, Dempar Parquet, Okuyan Masa, Dastaş, Beytek Engineering and AEP Anadolu Etap companies, especially Sakarya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SATSO).
During the meeting, the project was first introduced by the Project Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Selda Murat Hocaoğlu. Then, presentations on "Extraction of Citrus Oil" by Dr. Banu Bahar, Deputy Project Coordinator, "Purification of Citrus Oil" by Elmas Eva Öktem, Deputy Project Coordinator and "Environmental Pollutants" by Dr. Barış Güzel, Deputy Project Coordinator were made.
Finally, the activities carried out so far within the scope of the project were presented and evaluations were made.
