An international workshop on sample preparation for dioxin analysis is being organized by TUBITAK Marmara Research Center Food Institute on August 6, 2015. The aim of this workshop is to inform participants about the latest developments in sample preparation for PCDD/F and PCB analysis.

Within the scope of the workshop, the use of new generation clean-up systems for the analysis of persistent pollutants, dioxins and PCB compounds in food and feed will be explained. Current European Union Regulations on PCDD/F and PCB analysis will be presented. New developments in PCDD/F and PCB sample clean-up systems will be discussed. In addition, clean-up procedures will be carried out practically using real samples and the results will be analyzed and evaluated.
