Zekeriya COŞTU, General Director of National Technology of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, and the accompanying delegation visited TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM).

Within the scope of the visit, Dr. Osman OKUR, Vice President of TÜBİTAK MAM, made technical presentations on the history of MAM, the projects carried out by the Vice Presidency of Materials Technologies and the infrastructure of MAM. In this context, views were exchanged on future investments and possible collaborations.

Following the presentation, Prof. Dr. Ahmet YOZGATLIGIL, Vice President of TÜBİTAK and President of MAM, informed the delegation about the activities and competencies of TÜBİTAK MAM.

After the meeting, the delegation examined the Precision Casting Technologies Laboratory, Superalloy Casting Technologies Laboratory, High Temperature Materials Research, Development and Repair Center of Excellence, Glass Technologies Laboratory and Underwater Acoustics Laboratories within the TÜBİTAK MAM Materials Technologies Vice Presidency and received detailed information.

The delegation then visited TÜBİTAK Informatics and Information Security Research Center (BİLGEM) Laser Technologies Laboratory (Electro-optics and Laser Systems), TÜBİTAK Rail Transportation Technologies Institute (RUTE) Robotics and Electronic Design Laboratory, Power Systems Laboratory, Motor Center of Excellence and Battery Laboratory.
