The 1st Working Group Meeting of the "MycoTWIN - Enhancing Research and Innovation Capacity of TUBITAK MRC Food Institute on Management of Mycotoxigenic Fungi and Mycotoxins" project, which was accepted within the scope of the European Union H2020-WIDESPREAD-2020-5 Twinning call and coordinated by TÜBİTAK MAM Food Institute, organized in cooperation with TÜBİTAK MAM and CNR-ISPA, was held on 23 June 2021.
The meeting was attended by CNR-ISPA (National Research Council - Institute of Science of Food Production - Italy), UV (University of Valencia - Spain), APRE (The Agency for the Promotion of European Research - Italy) and other institutes and units of TÜBİTAK MAM, in particular TÜBİTAK MAM Food Institute. The meeting focused on the future of food safety research in Europe, regulations and future needs, as well as EU project implementation, administrative and financial procedures and proposal preparation for Horizon Europe calls.
