"March 8 International Women's Day Event" was held at TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) with the participation of Prof. Dr. Hasan MANDAL, President of TÜBİTAK.
All female employees, interns and scholarship holders of TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) participated in the event.
Within the scope of the event, TUBITAK President Prof. Dr. Hasan MANDAL made a speech via video conference. In his speech, Mr. In his speech, Mr. MANDAL said, "It is an honor for me to be working with you. I hope we will develop and accomplish many processes together in the coming years. I would like to thank our women for all the work they have been involved in so far and for all the work they have done" and left the event.
During the event, which took place in a friendly and pleasant atmosphere, our female employees Ayla KANAAT and Nilgün YAMANOK, who will retire in March, watched interview videos about their days at the Institution. A certificate of appreciation was presented by the President of MAM for their countless efforts and support during their time at the Center.
Afterwards, a video of MAM Women employees' answers to the question "What is a Woman?" was watched. The cheerful and entertaining behavior of the participants attracted a lot of attention.
TÜBİTAK MAM President V. Mr. Dr. Osman OKUR took the microphone and said "We are really incomplete without you, I am glad you exist" and congratulated all women on March 8th International Women's Day.
