The Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, which broke out in Wuhan, People's Republic of China and spread to many countries, has so far seen more than 330,000 cases and killed more than 14,000 people. Due to its high contagiousness and the fact that no vaccine or special medication has yet been developed, the disease is considered a significant threat to human health. As a matter of fact, the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a pandemic on 11 March 2020.

1. Disinfect
On 24.03.2020, disinfection procedures were carried out by the Gebze Municipality disinfection team in MAM Presidency and all other buildings.
2. Hygiene
In order to ensure the general hygiene of the working environment, surfaces that are frequently touched by hands such as turnstiles, door handles, stair handrails, sinks, faucets, etc. are frequently cleaned with 1/100 bleach solution as recommended in the Scientific Committee COVID-19 guide.
3. Thermal Camera

Our personnel with fever will be directed to the health service, fever measurement and health checks will be made, and if necessary, they will be directed to the health institution by wearing a mask.
4. Hand Sanitizers
When there is visible or invisible contamination, hand sanitizer is used to prevent disease-causing microorganisms from infecting our own body or others. The most commonly and most safely used alcohol-based hand sanitizers.
Alcohol-based hand sanitizers were placed at the entrance of MAM Presidency and other Institute building entrances to ensure continuous hand hygiene.
5. Rations
As part of efforts to reduce the number of collective spaces as much as possible, a ration system was introduced to prevent gathering in the cafeteria.
6. Service Vehicles
Arrangements were made in personnel shuttle buses.

Disinfection activities are continued by BİLGEM. Frequent cleaning of frequently contacted surfaces is ensured and monitored. Disinfection process will be repeated once a week in all service vehicles.
