On 26.09.2022, a meeting was held between TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM), Informatics and Information Security Research Center (BİLGEM), National Metrology Institute (UME) and Malaysia SIRIM for cooperation.
Prof. Dr. Burcu ÖZSOY, Vice President of Climate Change and Sustainability at MAM, Celal MIZRAK, Vice President of Technology Transfer and Industrialization at TÜBİTAK BİLGEM, Alper AY, Business Development Manager at TÜBİTAK BİLGEM, Süleyman Z. CAN, Deputy Director of TÜBİTAK UME, researchers and business development experts attended the meeting.
During the program, TÜBİTAK MAM, BİLGEM and UME made introductory and cooperation presentations respectively. After the meeting, SIRIM delegation made on-site inspections at TÜBİTAK UME Chemistry Group Laboratories, TÜBİTAK RUTE Robotics Laboratory and Engine Center of Excellence in order to introduce TÜBİTAK infrastructure.
In the evaluation meeting held after the tour, potential cooperation issues in many pioneering areas, especially Hydrogen Technologies and Biomass Conversion Technologies, were discussed.
Inter-institutional vocational training opportunities were evaluated during the meeting.
