"Korea-Turkey Renewable Energy Seminar" was organized with the aim of sharing information about "Renewable Energy Policies" and increasing investment and cooperation between Korean and Turkish companies.
"Korea-Turkey Renewable Energy Seminar" was organized in Istanbul on September 7, 2017 to share information about the Korean government's "Renewable Energy Policies" and to increase investment and cooperation between Korean and Turkish companies.
The seminar was led by Cha Youngcheol, Consul General of Korea and Dr. Orkun Hasekioğlu, President of TÜBİTAK MAM. During the seminar, Başak Avcı, Senior Project Director of the Prime Ministry Investment Support and Promotion Agency, made a presentation on "Opportunities in the Renewable Energy Sector in Turkey". TÜBİTAK MAM Energy Institute Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdülkadir Balıkçı gave detailed information about the projects carried out at the Institute on "Renewable Energy".
Jae-Ha Choı, Director of the International Energy Security Department of Korea MOFA, gave general information on Korea's "Renewable Energy Policy, Solar Energy, Wind Energy, Geothermal Energy, Nuclear Power Plant". The seminar, which was attended by more than 20 Korean companies, ended after the question and answer session.
