Under the leadership of TÜBİTAK President Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal, TÜBİTAK MAM President Dr. Osman Okur and TÜBİTAK MAM GMBE Director Prof. Dr. Şaban Tekin, both the Marmara Research Center and the Gene Engineering and Biotechnology Institute laboratories were visited. Abbas Güçlü was informed about TÜBİTAK MAM and ongoing vaccine and drug studies, and observed the capabilities and opportunities of TÜBİTAK on site.
