A delegation consisting of Yasuyuki Murahashi, Head of JETRO Turkey, Caucasus and Central Asia, Satoshi Hashimoto, Director of Economic Affairs, Makoto Nakamura, Director of Business Development, Ömer Özgüven, Member of the Japan Business Council of Turkey Foreign Economic Affairs Board DEİK and Ecem Mirzaloğl, Deputy Coordinator of Business Councils visited our headquarters.
The delegation was received by Vice President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Makaracı and met with the President of TÜBİTAK, Prof. Dr. Arif Ergin, who visited the center. The earthquake, geothermal energy and halal food projects carried out by our center were discussed and a consensus was reached on the organization of a joint Japan-Turkey year.
The delegation then visited MARTEK, TEKGEB and TEKSEB and received information about the Informatics Valley.
