TÜBİTAK MAM Within the scope of the project being carried out by the Environment and Cleaner Production Institute (ÇTÜE), water and sediment quality monitoring and evaluation studies will be carried out in order to monitor the existing domestic and industrial pollution, which is a source of continuous pollution that poses a danger to public health in the Bosphorus, Marmara Sea (north), Black Sea (Şile) and Golden Horn, and water and sediment sampling will be carried out to determine the biodiversity and ecological quality status of the Golden Horn.

In addition, ichthyoplankton, macrozoobenthos and macrolag studies and imaging studies of sea discharge lines with acoustic and/or optical methods will be carried out.

The R/V TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Vessel belonging to our institution has laboratory and device equipment that allows the analysis of seawater samples taken.
