A delegation of 2 members from the Indonesian Ministry of Science and Technology consisting of Dedy SAPUTRA and Dr. Sahat PANGGABEAN visited TÜBİTAK MAM on 12 December 2014. The meeting, which was led by Dr. İbrahim BEKAR, Deputy Director of TÜBİTAK MAM Materials Institute and accompanied by the management representatives of the Environment and Cleaner Production Institute, Gene Engineering and Biotechnology Institute and Energy Institute, started with the welcome and opening speech made by Dr. İbrahim BEKAR and after the mutual acquaintance, general information about our Center was given to the delegation and TÜBİTAK MAM was introduced. General information was given verbally by the Indonesian delegation. After the meeting, the delegation visited the sol-gel, electron microscopy and laser spectroscopy laboratories at the Institute of Materials; the water-wastewater, solid waste and marine research laboratories at the Institute of Environment and Cleaner Production; the immunogenetics, diagnostic technologies, advanced genome and bioinformatics laboratories at the Institute of Gene Engineering and Biotechnology; and the battery, vehicle, combustion and gasification laboratories at the Institute of Energy, and detailed information about the studies carried out was given to the delegation by the experts on site. The delegation left the Center with positive impressions.
