The "Young Researcher Project Competition", in which 16 teams of young researchers from the Food Institute competed, was held at the GE Pilot plant on June 16, 2015. The products developed by the researchers were exhibited at the event, and successful projects selected after the poster presentation of each project were awarded.
As a result of the competition, the project "Development of a smart biopolymeric film sensitive to pH changes to be used as a freshness / spoilage indicator in foods (E. Aytunga Arık Kibar - H. İmge Oktay Başeğmez)" won the first prize, while the project "Obtaining G. stearothermophilus bacteria used as sterilization bioindicator from natural sources (N.
