IPA INNOFOOD Food Innovations Anatolia Technology Platform Meeting was held at TÜBİTAK MAM with the participation of Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal, President of TÜBİTAK.

At the meeting, where Civil Society Representatives, companies operating in the food sector, cooperatives and food associations came together, the objectives for the establishment of Research and Innovation Facilities to improve regional competitiveness in the Food Industry were evaluated.

In his speech, Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal, President of TÜBİTAK, emphasized the importance of the Food Sector in the world and in our country, and stated that the contributions and suggestions of the sector representatives are of strategic importance and that the work will continue by coming together after the establishment of the platform. He received the opinions of the sector representatives about the R&D topics and expectations that ANTEPFIN Platform should prioritize.

After the meeting, the TÜBİTAK MAM Food Institute Pilot Plant was visited and the participants were informed about the pilot plant infrastructure.
