Technical Capabilities and Capacity

HESKON is designed to deliver the high reliability, cyber security and flexible operating infrastructure required by modern power plants.

High Operational Continuity

Redundant server and workstation architecture guarantees uninterrupted system operation even in the event of a hardware failure.

Advanced Cyber Security

It has been developed in accordance with the ISO/IEC 27019 cybersecurity standard, which is critical for the energy sector, protecting the system against cyber threats.

Flexible Infrastructure

Although it runs on Windows operating system, it offers virtualization support, reducing hardware costs and providing ease of maintenance.

User Friendly Interface

It features a local Human-Machine Interface (HMI/SCADA) software designed for operators to easily monitor and control the plant.

Comprehensive Archiving

It provides retrospective analysis and reporting by archiving all operational data and event records of the power plant for a long time.

Communication Infrastructure

It provides seamless communication with internal and external systems (e.g. Load Dispatch Center) over standard protocols.

  • Hydroelectric Power Plants (HPP): It is the main area of use of the system and is an ideal solution for newly installed HEPPs or existing HEPPs whose automation system will be renewed (modernization/rehabilitation).
  • Other Power Plants: Its architecture is also adaptable to other types of power plants.
