National Central Inverter
About
The Central Inverter technology developed with national resources is a strategic achievement for Turkey's technological independence in the energy sector. The fact that the 1 MW version is a field-proven and commercialized product demonstrates the competence in this field. The development of a 6 MW more powerful prototype and the licensing of production/sales rights to a defence and technology giant such as ASELSAN demonstrates the strong will to commercialize the technology in large-scale projects and bring it into the national energy infrastructure.
Product Overview
In large-scale solar power plants (SPP), it is a high-capacity power electronics system that collects Direct Current (DC) power from hundreds or even thousands of solar panels at a single point and converts it into grid-compatible Alternating Current (AC). It is the cornerstone of power plant scale projects.
