The cooperation initiated by the Undersecretariat for Defence Industries (SSM) with TÜBİTAK continues within the scope of the determination and integration of the defence industry test infrastructure in Turkey.

In this context, a comprehensive day-long program was held at TÜBİTAK MAM on 24 December 2014. All relevant centres and institutes of TÜBİTAK, including MAM, BİLGEM, UME, SAGE and Space Institute, participated in the program, where information was exchanged with SSM officials.

The meeting, moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Makaracı, Vice President of Strategy and Technology Development at TÜBİTAK MAM, was attended by the Undersecretariat delegation led by Ali Vasfi Demirtaş, Platform Test Manager at the SSM Quality, Test and Certification Department, as well as a group of officials from STM.

This work is being carried out within the scope of SSM's strategic objectives, which include "establishing a technology base for technological competence, planning the test infrastructure to support design and development activities, and realizing domestic development projects that will provide technological superiority".
