Recently, our institute has accelerated its work on the detection of Chemical & Biological warfare agents and explosives. In this context, our team is increasing its experience with the infrastructure we have established and the collaborations we have developed. In this direction, in order to demonstrate and prove its competence on national and international platforms, it participated in the proficiency tests organized by the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) in May for trial purposes. On June 29, an online evaluation meeting was held with the CSWO officials on our institute's proficiency test result report. The results of the test report presented were deemed to be successful in terms of format and content, and our participation in future tests was recommended.
In addition, all participating laboratories participated in the online general evaluation meeting and workshop organized by the CSI on 29 and 30 June.
By participating in this event, our institute gained experience in the testing of controlled substances and their precursors included in the list of banned chemicals of the NCRC and had the opportunity to communicate with laboratories in different countries.
