A high-level delegation headed by William Lyons, Director of Global Research and Development Strategies at Boeing, one of the world's leading aerospace companies, visited TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center on December 11, 2015.
TÜBİTAK MAM Vice President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Makaracı chaired the meeting, which was also attended by TÜBİTAK Vice President Dr. Orkun Hasekioğlu.
Within the scope of the visit, which was organized to receive information about TÜBİTAK MAM's R&D and innovation capabilities and the projects developed at the Centre, Prof. Dr. Metin Usta, Director of MAM Institute of Materials, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serdar Sezer, Deputy Director of the Institute of Chemical Technology, presented the national technologies and projects developed at the institutes.
In the meeting, international cooperation models of TÜBİTAK Institutes were shared and possible cooperation opportunities with Boieng were discussed.
