In 2019, within the framework of the protocol signed with the General Directorate of Meteorology, the first meteorological station to be established by our country in Antarctica was delivered to the continent with a major logistics operation. The data of our meteorological station, which was established and activated during the Third National Antarctic Science Expedition, was recorded in the memory in the hardware for one year. In 2020, during the Fourth National Antarctic Science Expedition, the station was strengthened to transmit data via satellite.
