The Climate Change Adaptation Grant Scheme (CCAGP) is co-financed by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey. "Climate Change Adaptation Grant Scheme (CCAGP)" is implemented by the Climate Change Directorate of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change (MoEUUU) and the contracting authority of the grant scheme is the Directorate General for European Union and Foreign Relations, Department of European Union Investments of the MoEUUU.

Within the scope of the grant program, under the coordination of TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center, Isparta University of Applied Sciences, Ege University, Istanbul University, Istanbul Technical University, The "Determination of Socio-Economic Impacts" survey studies of the "ACLIFS - Assessing the Impacts of Climate Change on Food Security and Increasing the Resilience of Rural Communities" project, carried out in partnership with the International Agricultural Research Institute Directorate and Fruit Research Institute, were carried out in 18 districts and 45 villages in the Küçük Menderes Basin, Eğirdir-Karacaören and Beyşehir Lakes Basins between November 11-20.

A total of 280 farmers participated in the survey conducted in the study areas. The survey, which aimed to evaluate the socio-economic impacts of climate change on agriculture, was conducted by Prof. Dr. Bekir KAYACAN, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ferda KARAGÖZ ÖZENÇ, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cenk Gökçe ADAŞ, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gökhan ÖVENÇ, Assoc. Assist. Gökçin VURAL and Assist. Assist. Gülşah KOCAKAYA.

During face-to-face fieldwork, information was gathered from 45 villages in the Küçük Menderes and Eğirdir-Karacaören and Beyşehir Lakes basins on the impacts of climate change on farmers' various forms of agricultural production and their methods of coping with these impacts. The main problems expressed by farmers were the negative impacts of changing weather conditions on crop productivity and the cost increases caused by the measures they have taken to overcome these adversities. However, farmers who participated in the study expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to talk about their problems and showed that they were looking for solutions by sharing their concerns about agricultural production. This feedback will pave the way for a better understanding of the problems encountered in the field and the development of common solutions.

The ACLIFS Project aims to identify the impacts of climate change on agriculture and animal husbandry in three selected basins (Küçük Menderes Basin and Eğirdir-Karacaören and Beyşehir Lakes Basins), including socio-economic consequences, and to assess adaptation options.
