The 86th Izmir International Fair, whose theme was Innovation-Energy and partner country was the Russian Federation, was held on August 18-27, 2017. MAM, BİLGEM and UME participated in the fair with a booth under the coordination of TÜBİTAK.
Participating in the "86th Izmir International Fair" attended by high-level participants from 26 countries, Minister of Science, Industry and Technology Dr. Faruk Özlü stated that the meetings to be held during the fair will further increase the trade volume between us and Russia.
On behalf of TÜBİTAK MAM, officials from the Business Development Unit, Energy Institute and Food Institute attended the fair and had the opportunity to meet with many institutions/organizations. The Business Development Unit held B2B meetings with Enercom, AMR System, Membranium, Roshimzaschita (Russian State Corporation) and provided information about TÜBİTAK MAM activities.
Within the scope of the fair, TÜBİTAK MAM Business Development Unit participated in the Turkey-Russia Business Forum held at Swiss Hotel on August 18, 2017. During the concurrent sessions, cooperation agreements were signed between Turkey and Russia in the fields of energy, industry, special economic zones and tourism.
