Held for the eighth time at Konya Science Center between October 7-10, 2021, with the theme 'How to Make a National Technology Move? How Does It Work?" theme, our Polar Research Institute also took its place under the TÜBİTAK MAM stakeholder at the Konya Science Festival, Turkey's largest science festival.

We shared our Institute's national and international studies on the Polar regions, the Arctic and Antarctica with the festival participants. At our booth, which was visited by the participants, we focused on explaining the drastic change of global climate change, especially in the Polar regions, and climate migrations, accompanied by our mascots, while activities were carried out to raise social awareness, encourage future scientists and ensure that young people have more say in climate issues, especially the habits we can change as individuals to protect our environment and thus the Polar regions. At our booth, where information was shared on many topics such as our country's full membership to the Scientific Committee on Antarctica (SCAR) and the first Polar Science Expeditions Training Book, we also had a photo exhibition on the theme of the National Antarctic Expeditions (TAE), which have been taking place since 2017, and the Memory Game within the scope of our Education and Awareness activities: Matching Polar Creatures and Regions as part of our Education and Awareness activities.
