The warships that sank 106 years ago on the Historical Gallipoli Peninsula were opened to tourism with the "Gallipoli Historical Underwater Park" after the end of the work on the Project to Open the HMS Majestic Wreck to Diving Tourism, whose marine researches were carried out by TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) Environment and Clean Production Institute (ÇTÜE).
The warships in the depths of the historical Gallipoli Peninsula have been opened to diving tourism as the Gallipoli Historical Underwater Park. The war wrecks of Çanakkale, which hides many stories in its depths, will be the first underwater park with a World War I theme. Diving enthusiasts will discover the mystery of 14 sunken ships, including the HMS Majestic of the British Royal Navy, which was sunk 106 years ago off Seddülbahir Castle. 14 diving spots in the Gallipoli Historical Underwater Park, which allows diving in an area of 150 square kilometers; HMS Majestic, Ertuğrul Bay Massena and Saghalien shipwrecks, Helles Barges, Tekke Bay (W Beach) wrecks, Arıburnu Barge, Küçükkemikli Barges, Arıburnu Layter, Lundy, HMS Louıs, S.S. Milo, Tuzla, Submarine Mania Network, Bebek Rocks and HMS Trıumph.
The opening and promotion of the Gallipoli Historical Underwater Park, which is the meeting point of the Aegean and Marmara seas and attracts the attention of the whole world with its underwater treasures, was held at Seddülbahir Castle.
