The "Biomaterials, Biomechanics and Bioelectronics Center of Excellence and Capabilities" Workshop, which started with the opening speeches of TÜBİTAK MAM Business Development and Industrialization Vice President Dr. İbrahim Bekar and Materials Institute Assistant Director Dr. Salih Dabak, was held on 20 December 2016 at the TÜBİTAK MAM Conference Hall with the participation of 21 people from 12 different companies and approximately 25 people from MAM Gebze Campus, with presentations on the following topics.

"Biomaterials and Sol-Gel Technology"

"Microbiological Testing of Medical Devices"
Within the scope of the workshop, the infrastructure and promotion of the Center as well as its Test and Analysis capabilities were explained and possible project opportunities were evaluated through bilateral meetings. In addition, the participating companies, as private sector and industrialists, expressed their expectations from the "Biomaterials, Biomechanics and Bioelectronics Center of Excellence" in terms of products and tests.
The workshop provided an opportunity to establish mutual communication for the steps to be taken together towards a better future within the scope of the studies and analyzes that the Turkish industry needs/will need in the sector.
