We Bring National Technology Move and Qualified Human Resources to Our Country
In line with the National Technology Move and our goal of bringing qualified human resources to our country, we, as TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM), make significant contributions to the "co-development" and "co-success" approach that the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) is creating in the ecosystem.
In addition to our STAR Fellows, who are assigned to our Center with a large project-based scholarship program, which was carried out for the first time in our country, we support our Fellows in gaining R&D culture, taking the first step into innovation, production, R&D studies and research ecosystem, and conducting research in the laboratories of the Institute with our expert staff and all our facilities. The Fellows, who work in different institutes and laboratories within the Center, can benefit from all the local and national facilities of MAM as well as all the facilities on campus.
Our goal is to create a technology-producing society in Turkey
As the TÜBİTAK MAM family, we support our successful students to gain research experience in the fields of science and technology they are interested in with the project-based scholarship program. We continue to support undergraduate students to take part in scientific research projects in addition to their academic studies, to increase their creativity, to develop their engineering, problem solving and intellectual skills with all our opportunities.
We organized MAM Institute Introduction Programs for Star Scholars and Fellows to ensure that their fields of study are not limited to the Institutes and Laboratories and that they get to know other MAM Institutes and add to their knowledge.
We Introduced TÜBİTAK MAM, RUTE and TÜSSİDE to Future Researchers
Our introductory programs, which were initially organized for STAR Scholars, were opened to the participation of all Interns and Scholars in our Center, as well as graduate students, doctoral students and all our staff in Turkey and abroad, upon intense demand. Subsequently, due to the great interest of our students, we added TÜBİTAK Rail Transportation Technologies Institute (RUTE) and Turkish Industry and Management Institute (TÜSSİDE) to our program.
The Institute Introduction Programs, which lasted for two months, took place in the form of 40 minutes of presentation and 20 minutes of question and answer with the narration of our expert lecturers. The excited and curious moods of the students, who were given intensive knowledge by our strong staff and whose desire to ask questions increased in the face of the answers they received in the question and answer section and who found answers to the questions they were curious about in many fields, were observed. The students, who are interested in many fields, were given the contact information of our expert lecturers in order to provide more comprehensive answers to the questions they are curious about and to ask them what comes to their minds in the following processes.
Our students, who also participated from abroad, stated that they were very pleased with this opportunity offered to them by TÜBİTAK MAM and expressed their wishes for the continuation of the Programs.
