In the meeting attended by Prof. Dr. İbrahim Kılıçaslan, Head of the Center, Prof. Dr. Şaban Tekin, Director of the Institute of Gene Engineering and Biotechnology, and Prof. Dr. Metin Usta, Director of the Institute of Materials, Prof. Dr. İbrahim Kılıçaslan emphasized the importance of localization of medical devices imported from abroad with great financial resources, especially in the field of health, and stated that our technological infrastructure and know-how can be transformed into high value-added products with the cooperation of KUTTAM.

Following the presentations on the capabilities of the Institute of Materials, Institute of Gene Engineering and Biotechnology and mutual meetings, visits were made to the Biomaterials, Biomechanics and Bioelectronics Center of Excellence and the Genome Research Center.
