Under the coordination of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Turkey Branch, a delegation of 19 officials from the ASME Saudi Arabia Branch visited TÜBİTAK MAM on June 05, 2014.

At the meeting, which was held in the presence of the Vice President of TÜBİTAK MAM and the Directors and Deputy Directors of the relevant Institutes, general information was given to the Delegation by watching the TÜBİTAK MAM introductory film, and detailed information on the working areas of the Institutes was given with the presentations made by the officials of the Energy Institute, Materials Institute, Chemical Technology Institute, Environment and Clean Production Institute. ASME officials (representatives of Saudi Aramco, SABIC, SWCC, KAU, KFUPM, PMU, Dammam Uni.) provided information on the fields of study related to ASME and possible areas of cooperation were evaluated.

The visit was useful in terms of introducing our Center in general and exchanging information about the activities carried out.
