During the visit of Tuzla Mayor Dr. Şadi Yazıcı to TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) on October 13, 2020, the cooperation between Tuzla Municipality, Marmara Technopolis and MAM was discussed.

At the meeting attended by Tuzla Mayor Dr. Şadi Yazıcı, Marmara Technopolis General Manager Mehmet Ali Okur, TUBITAK Marmara Research Center Vice President Dr. Osman Okur, Deputy Director of the Polar Research Institute Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burcu Özsoy and KARE Institute staff, discussions were held for cooperation and development of new projects. Tuzla Mayor Dr. Şadi Yazıcı wished success to the newly established Polar Research Institute.

In 2017, the First Polar Science House of our country was opened by Tuzla Municipality in Tuzla Şelale Park within the scope of social awareness activities of polar research, which has been carried out under the auspices of our Presidency since 2017. New cooperation issues that can be realized with TÜBİTAK MAM and also with the Polar Research Institute were discussed.
