Turkish Coal Enterprises Authority (TKİ) visited TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) on December 29, 2021.

During the visit, a meeting was held between TÜBİTAK MAM and TKİ. The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yozgatlıgil, Vice President of TÜBİTAK and President of TÜBİTAK MAM, Dr. Hasan Hüseyin Erdoğan, General Manager of TKİ, Dr. Osman Okur, Vice President of Business Development and Industrialization at MAM, Mustafa Mert Ayaz, Deputy General Manager of TKİ, Serdar Fidancı, Head of Department at TKİ, Ayşe Tarakçıoğlu, Head of Department at TKİ, EE Manager at EE. Osman Okur, Deputy General Manager of TKİ Mustafa Mert Ayaz, Head of TKİ Department Serdar Fidancı, Head of TKİ Department Ayşe Tarakçıoğlu, Deputy Director of EE Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fehmi Akgün, Deputy Director of CTE Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şerife Sarıoğlan and Engineers and Researchers from TÜBİTAK MAM and TKİ attended the meeting. During the meeting, presentations on potential cooperation issues were made by competent persons from TÜBİTAK MAM Institute of Chemical Technology (KTE) and Energy Institute (EE).

After the meeting, TKİ delegation visited the Coal and Biomass Research Laboratory, Inorganic Analysis Laboratories, Energy Institute Combustion and Gasification Pilot Plant Site and Gas Technologies Laboratory of the Institute of Chemical Technology. The delegation was informed about the work carried out and the products and infrastructure of the Institutes.
