A Tunisian delegation consisting of senior officials from the Tunisian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Agriculture visited TÜBİTAK Gebze Campus on October 31, 2017.

The Tunisian delegation headed by Prof. Dr. Slim Choura, General Manager of International Relations, was welcomed by Orhan Muratoğlu, Vice President of TÜBİTAK BİLGEM. The meeting, which took place at TÜBİTAK MAM, was accompanied by BİLGEM officials and officials from MAM Business Development, Environment and Cleaner Production, Gene Engineering and Biotechnology, and Food Institute.

Following the presentation of the Tunisian delegation, BİLGEM and MAM's activities and information on the projects of the Institutes were shared with the delegation through detailed presentations made by the officials.
During the meeting, possible collaborations between Tunisia and TÜBİTAK were discussed. It was evaluated that cooperation can be established through student programs, EU programs, H2020, bilateral and multiple agreements, etc. Communication between the institutions will be maintained.
