TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) participated in the 6th Productivity and Technology Fair hosted by the Turkish Productivity Foundation and Ankara Bilim University between February 8-10. The fair, held at ATO Congresium, brought together the leading names of the sector. The fair was opened with the participation of high-level officials such as Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, President of the Presidency of Defense Industry Haluk Görgün, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kaçır and TÜBİTAK MAM President Prof. Dr. Burcu ÖZSOY.
Innovative and advanced technology products were exhibited at TÜBİTAK MAM's booth. Photovoltaic Micro Inverter, Power Quality Analyzer (PQA), Open Porous and Lightweight Metal Structures (Metal Foam-Honeycomb-Lattice (Lattice)), Train Brake Pad, High Temperature Carbon Composite Material, PEM Electrolyzer Module and Components, Fuel Cell Charging System-Military Bag, Smart Crisper Box for Refrigerator, Apple Pectin, Immune System Supporting and Antiviral-Antibacterial Products, Natural Antioxidants from Rosemary, Barley β-Glucan, Pectins from Sugar Beet Pulp, Chromatography Fillers and Products-ZEOBOR, Gelatin Substitute Modified Starch, Prebiotic Food Supplement Galactooligosaccharide (GOS) products attracted the attention of the fair visitors.
Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır visited the stand and closely examined TÜBİTAK MAM's innovations in the field of technology and received information.
In addition, "Product Life Cycle Assessment Training" was organized by Tuba BUDAK DUHBACI, Senior Expert Researcher, Circular Economy Research Group Leader from TÜBİTAK MAM Climate Change and Sustainability Vice Presidency. Tuba BUDAK DUHBACI from TÜBİTAK MAM Climate Change and Sustainability Vice Presidency organized "Product Life Cycle Assessment Training". In this training, information was shared on the assessment of the environmental impacts of products throughout their life cycle and their importance in terms of sustainability. At the end of the training, all participants received certificates.
While important information and experiences were presented to sector representatives and visitors at the event, which was well attended, TÜBİTAK MAM's innovative solutions in the field of technology attracted attention.
