TOBB Turkish Chemical Industry Assembly President Timur Erk and Assembly Advisor Prof. Dr. Serdar Çelebi visited TÜBİTAK MAM President Prof. Dr. İbrahim Kılıçaslan.

During the meeting, which was also attended by Prof. Dr. Ülker Beker, Director of TÜBİTAK MAM Institute of Chemical Technology, Dr. Serdar Sezer and Dr. Somer Bekiroğlu, Deputy Directors of TÜBİTAK MAM Institute of Chemical Technology, Speaker Timur Erk was informed about the competencies of TÜBİTAK MAM Institute of Chemical Technology and the studies carried out.

Prof. Dr. İbrahim Kılıçaslan, President of TÜBİTAK MAM, emphasized that innovative and domestic solutions should be developed in order to overcome foreign dependency, which is one of the main problems of the sector, and to increase the competitiveness of the sector. He underlined that institutions should work in coordination for the development of the chemical industry.

TOBB Turkish Chemical Industry Council and TÜBİTAK MAM Chemical Technology Institute agreed to continue their cooperation increasingly.
