Julio César Escobedo Flores, Consul General of Mexico in Istanbul, and Paulina Toledo Burgueno, Cultural Attaché, visited TUBITAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) on Wednesday, July 10, 2019.

TÜBİTAK MAM President Prof. Dr. İbrahim Kılıçaslan, Vice President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Makaracı and Consultant Murat Şahin attended the visit. Kılıçaslan expressed his satisfaction with the visit and stated that Mexico and Turkey are the 15th and 17th largest economies in the world, that both countries have a young population and a developing structure, and that TÜBİTAK MAM is open to cooperation, especially in the field of R&D, taking into account bilateral relations.

Afterwards, Vice President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Makaracı gave information about the infrastructure and products of TÜBİTAK MAM and emphasized the importance of possible fields of study.
