At the meeting held at the TÜBİTAK MAM Conference Hall with the participation of TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM), Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc. (TAI), TAI Engine Industries Inc. (TEI) and TRMOTOR Güç Sistemleri Sanayi Inc. existing and potential projects were evaluated and cooperation opportunities were discussed.

Among the participants were Prof. Dr. Burcu Özsoy, President of TÜBİTAK MAM; Prof. Dr. Rafet Bozdoğan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of TAI; Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Öztürk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of TEI; Prof. Dr. Mahmut Faruk Akşit, General Manager of TEI; Prof. Dr. Osman Saim Dinç, General Manager of TRMOTOR; Dr. Osman Okur, Vice President of TÜBİTAK MAM; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abit Balın, Director of Strategy and Business Development at MAM; Serdar Aksoy, Director of Subsystems at TRMOTOR; and researchers and engineers from related institutions.

During the meeting, Dr. Hüseyin Aydın, Leader of the TÜBİTAK MAM Metallic Materials Technologies Research Group, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Salih Dabak, Leader of the Structural Materials Technologies Research Group, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tuba Erdoğan Bedri, Deputy Leader of the Chemical Process Technologies Research Group, made presentations on the projects carried out within the scope of TÜBİTAK MAM's Aerospace activities and open to cooperation. Participants were given detailed information about the current status of these projects, their future potential and opportunities for cooperation.

Following the meeting, the High Temperature Materials Research, Development and Repair Center of Excellence, the Composites Laboratory and the Prepreg Production Line were visited and information was given about the work and competencies in the laboratories.
