A meeting was held with the participation of TÜBİTAK MAM Gene Engineering and Biotechnology Institute (GMBE), SAHA İSTANBUL, General Directorate of Mineral Research and Exploration (MTA), Ankara University, Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University and the private sector within the scope of the project titled "Recovery of Rare Earth Elements (REE) by Bioliquic Method".

This meeting, which was held for the recovery of NTEs, which are of critical importance worldwide and are used in many industries such as defense, health, clean energy, electronics, transportation, petroleum refining, etc., included discussions on the target areas and methods to be used in the project studies, as well as the processes to be followed. One of the license areas of the General Directorate of MTA was selected as the study area. Samples will be taken from different parts of this mine site, which contains significant complex mineralization, at various depths.

With this pilot study, the question of whether the mineralization in the field is really enriched by the bioliquic method will be answered.
