TUBITAK Marmara Research Center President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bahadır Tunaboylu attended the Automotive Industry Workshop, which brought together Fikri Işık, Minister of Science, Industry and Technology, and representatives from the automotive industry.

At the workshop, where Minister Işık reported on the developments regarding the domestic vehicle project, the current state of the Turkish automotive industry was discussed and the evaluations of sector representatives were discussed. Minister Işık also touched upon the Automotive Center of Excellence and Engine Center of Excellence to be established at TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center, and provided information on the vehicle prototypes produced within TÜBİTAK MAM and the domestic vehicle roadmap.
