TÜBİTAK MAM's A.SPIRE membership will contribute to Turkey's sustainable production, clean energy and green transformation goals on an international scale by strengthening cooperation with industry and research communities in Europe.
TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) has joined A.SPIRE, one of the most important cooperation networks in Europe, which stands out with its work on the development of resource efficient processes in industry. With this membership, TÜBİTAK MAM is represented as a research institution that will make scientific and technological contributions to the industrial and research communities in Europe.
A.SPIRE aims to develop effective technologies and best practices in all stages of the supply chain in order to make industrial processes more efficient, sustainable and environmentally friendly. Bringing together industrial organizations, research institutions and universities from different European countries under the same roof, this organization leads the development of projects that are critical for green transformation and digitalization.
With TÜBİTAK MAM's membership to A.SPIRE, it is aimed to further strengthen cooperation with industry and research communities in Europe. This will contribute to Turkey's vision of sustainable consumption and production at the international level. In addition, it is aimed to play an active role in the development of clean energy technologies and to bring innovative solutions to the industry.
The membership process was completed by Dr. Tuba Budak and Dr. Abdullah Zahid Turan from TÜBİTAK MAM. This step will increase the effectiveness of our center in international R&D networks and will enable Turkey to be more visibly involved in strategic research and innovation initiatives in Europe. With its identity as a research institution that will provide scientific and technological contributions to the industrial and research communities in Europe, TÜBİTAK MAM will continue to further international cooperation to shape the industry of the future and contribute to sustainability goals on a global scale.
