TÜBİTAK MAM Earth Sciences Research Group of the Vice Presidency for Climate Change and Sustainability (BYIDS), Republic of Turkey. Within the scope of the contract signed between the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) and Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Center for Islamic Countries (SESRIC) for "Improvement of Earthquake Research Infrastructure of Pakistan Meteorological Department", experts of TÜBİTAK MAM BYIDS Earth Sciences Research Group started 9-day technical training activities on GPS, Seismology and Soil Classification at the Islamabad Head Office of Pakistan Meteorological Department.

The first of the four training tours planned within the scope of the project, which lasted 19 days in total, was held in March 2022 at TÜBİTAK Gebze Campus with the participation of 12 PMD researchers.
