In the organization held in cooperation with TÜBİTAK MAM and Kocaeli Chamber of Industry, 84 domestic technologies and B2B meetings gave a new impetus to the national technology move.

Within the scope of TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) and Kocaeli Chamber of Industry (KSO) Cooperation Program, the Center's advanced technology accumulation and national R&D competence were brought together with industrialists. The organization hosted by KSO brought together Turkey's production power and R&D capacity with local industrial dynamics.

At the event, 84 domestic and national technologies developed in a wide range of fields from energy to defense, food to environmental technologies were introduced with a comprehensive product exhibition and technical presentations. Within the scope of the organization, nearly 200 bilateral business meetings (B2B) were held between industrialists and TÜBİTAK MAM researchers, focusing on technology transfer and new collaborations.

84 Different Technologies from Energy to Defense on Display

While innovative projects implemented by different research groups of TÜBİTAK MAM were presented to the participants in the exhibition area, the Power Quality Analyzer (TUGAN), Current Forecasting and Basin Optimization Model (ATHOM) and electrolyzer systems for hydrogen technologies attracted attention in energy solutions. In the field of defence and aerospace, high-temperature resistant turbine blades and sonar transducers that reduce foreign dependency came to the fore, while in health and food technologies, SARS-CoV-2 protective lozenges, domestic diagnostic kits and propolis-containing food supplements demonstrated the biotechnological power of the centre. In the field of environment and earth sciences, critical technologies such as domestic flue gas analyzers, air quality measurement systems and seismic research devices were shared with stakeholders.

Contribution to the National Technology Movement and Future Goals

This meeting and B2B meetings made a direct contribution to Turkey's domestic and national technology drive, while providing stakeholders with the opportunity to closely examine TÜBİTAK MAM's advanced technology solutions and receive direct technical information.

This cooperation program, which is in line with the strategic goals of the Center, aims to increase productivity in the industry, reduce foreign dependency and encourage qualified domestic production.
