At the evaluation meeting led by Prof. Dr. Burcu Özsoy, President of TÜBİTAK MAM and Director of the Polar Research Institute, a national clothing project that synthesizes new textile technologies and traditional products was discussed in detail.

At the meeting, it was emphasized that this important work will not only increase the visibility of our country at the poles, but also contribute to foreign exchange earnings by preventing foreign currency loss.

The suit, which is planned to be realized within a two-year period, is expected to be used in Antarctic expeditions. The TÜBİTAK MAM and SUN Tekstil team participating in the meeting aims to increase the country's effectiveness in cold climate studies and create a local brand with the innovative products that will emerge within the scope of the national clothing project.
