During the recent visit of Prof. Dr. İbrahim Kılıçaslan, President of TÜBİTAK MAM, to İZAYDAŞ, the competencies of TÜBİTAK MAM Energy Institute in solid waste gasification and electricity generation from organic waste were conveyed and it was agreed that the two institutions would cooperate.

TÜBİTAK MAM officials came together again with İZAYDAŞ and Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality. IZAYDAŞ General Manager Muhammet Saraç, Deputy General Manager İsmail Uludağ, TÜBİTAK MAM Vice President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Makaracı, MAM Energy Institute Deputy Director Dr. Osman Okur, Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Secretary General Gökmen Mengüç, Head of Environmental Protection and Control Department Ünal Bostan, Head of Resource Development and Subsidiaries Department Kemal Altunel attended the meeting held at IZAYDAŞ.

Cooperation on converting urban wastes into energy and bringing them into the economy and preventing environmental pollution, which are among the strategic goals and studies of both institutions, were evaluated.
