On December 23, 2022, a "Cooperation Development Meeting" was held between TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) and Arçelik A.Ş.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yozgatlıgil, Vice President of TÜBİTAK and President of TÜBİTAK MAM, Nihat Bayız, R&D Director of Arçelik A.Ş., Dr. Osman Okur, Vice President of Energy Technologies at TÜBİTAK MAM, senior executives and researchers from TÜBİTAK MAM and Arçelik A.Ş.

Following the opening speeches, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yozgatlıgil, President of TÜBİTAK MAM, presented the working areas of TÜBİTAK Centers and Institutes that carry out their activities in TÜBİTAK Gebze Campus and the research groups within TÜBİTAK MAM,

An informative presentation was made on the products and prominent projects, the capabilities and capabilities of TÜBİTAK MAM, and the EU projects carried out.

Subsequently, by relevant experts from TÜBİTAK MAM; Power Electronics, Domestic Scale PEM Catalyst Development, Room Type Air Purification System, Indoor Air Purification Technologies, Thermal and Electrical Management Systems, Development of High Performance Oils, Thermal Management Material Technologies, Material Technologies for Net Zero Conversion, Presentations were made on Pyrolysis Recycling of Polyurethane Wastes, Smart Material Technologies, Photonic Technologies, Flexible Systems, Smart Crisper Box for Refrigerators, Metal Substitution Solutions (composite materials, CVD coating), Determination of Antiviral Activity and Steel Sheet Applications for Electrical Household Appliances.

Following the TÜBİTAK MAM presentations, Emre Oğuz, Senior Director of R&D at Arçelik Headquarters, made a presentation on potential areas of cooperation with TÜBİTAK MAM.

At the meeting, ideas were exchanged on areas of cooperation.
