The "2014 Research and Support Awards Ceremony" within the scope of the TÜBİTAK MAM Research and Support Awards, which are traditionally organized every year to encourage success and appreciate employees, was held at TÜBİTAK MAM on June 16, 2015 with the participation of MAM President, MAM Vice Presidents, TÜSSİDE Deputy Director, MAM Institute and Unit Managers and many MAM employees.
In the ceremony, after the opening speech made by TÜBİTAK MAM President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bahadır TUNABOYLU, certificates of appreciation were given to "Employees who have completed 10 - 15 - 20 - 25 - 30 years at TÜBİTAK MAM" and awards were presented to the employees who were entitled to receive awards in the categories of "Research Support", "Technology Development", "Innovation", "Most Successful Research Team" and "Most Successful Researcher" within the scope of "MAM Research and Support Awards".
Duygu ATALI and Mukadder ÇAĞLAR from the Information Services and System Management Unit received the "Research Support Award", which is given within the scope of all kinds of information, experience, sharing, training and consultancy support, testing and analysis studies, method and process development studies carried out to make all studies carried out more efficient and effective.
The "Technology Development Award", which is given on the basis of the economic benefit that the developed products and technologies will provide to our country, was presented to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Havva KAZDAL ZEYTİN, Project Manager of the TÜBİTAK MAM Materials Institute "Steam Turbine Blade" Project, and the Project Team.
The "Innovation Award", which was given in consideration of the innovative nature and application potential of the products and technologies developed, was presented to Assoc. Prof. Erkan ERTÜRK, Project Manager of the TÜBİTAK MAM Chemical Technology Institute "Development of Ethylmorphine (Dionin) and Methylmorphine (Codeine) Production Processes from Morphine" and the Project Team.
The "Most Successful Research Team Award", which is given to the working group that has made the most significant contribution to our institution in the fields of technology, products and scientific studies with their work, was presented to Dr. Cem ŞAHİN, Project Manager of the TÜBİTAK MAM Energy Institute "Hydroelectric Power Plant (HEPP) Control and Command Systems", and his Project Team.
The "Most Successful Researcher Award", which is given to researchers who represent TÜBİTAK MAM in the best way with their international scientific activities as well as the strategic technologies and products they develop, was presented to Dr. Alper BİBER, Chief Researcher at TÜBİTAK MAM Materials Institute.
The ceremony ended with a cocktail after the presentation of the awards.
