The Kocaeli leg of the "Management and Commercialization of Intellectual Property Rights" Module of the "Improvement of Industrial Property Capacities of R&D and Design Centers and Technology Development Zones" Project, which is being carried out by the Ministry of Science and Industry General Directorate of Science and Technology, Turkish Patent Institute (TPI) and LES Turkey (Technology Licensing Executives Association) consortium, was held on 16 November 2016 at Plaza Hotel İzmit.
The training on "Management and Commercialization of Intellectual Rights", which consists of five sub-modules, namely Understanding and Managing Intellectual Rights, Commercialization of Intellectual and Industrial Rights, Patent Valuation, Collaborations and Intellectual and Industrial Rights, Licensing Practice and Current Developments, was given by Samir Deliormanlı, Av. Hande Hançar Çelik and Av. Sinem Birsin, experts from Technology and License Managers.
Rasim Ayar, Accounting Unit Manager; Nuh Yılmaz, Business Development Unit Manager; Gülsen Oksay, Patent Support Unit Manager; Özlem Türker, Purchasing Unit Manager; Cem Özbek, Bid and Contract Unit Specialist; and Zafer Karadayı, Product Management Unit Specialist participated in the TÜBİTAK MAM training.
