TIKA and TUBITAK came together at the Marmara Research Center with the coordination of TUBITAK UIDB and MAM.

A meeting was held on December 19, 2016 at TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) under the coordination of TÜBİTAK International Cooperation Department and MAM Business Development Unit to discuss possible collaborations between TIKA and TÜBİTAK Institutes.

Managers from MAM, BİLGEM, UME, ULAKBİM, MARTEK also attended the meeting. In his opening speech, TÜBİTAK MAM President Pertev Cinalioğlu emphasized the importance of the cooperation between TÜBİTAK and TIKA.

Following the informative presentations of Hakan Karataş, Head of International Cooperation Department of TUBITAK and Mustafa Haşim Polat, TIKA Training Projects Coordinator, at the consultation meeting, possible cooperation issues between TIKA and TUBITAK Institutes were evaluated and mutual meetings were held on chemistry, energy, environment, materials, earth sciences, health, food, agriculture, informatics, software applications, metrology, etc.
